SawStop Compact Table Saw

The SawStop Compact Table Saw combines the convenience of portability and the ease-of-mind of SawStop’s patented safety system. The heart of any SawStop Saw is the skin contact detection. The blade carries a small electrical signal that is continuously monitored by a digital signal processor. The signal changes when it comes in contact with skin since the human body is conductive. This triggers the quick release aluminum brake. A heavy-duty spring forces the brake into the teeth of the spinning blade, stopping it instantly. Need to cut wet wood? Simply use the safety bypass feature so that you do not set off your brake!

The rack and pinion fence is always square and is easy to adjust or remove. The fence has a built-in high and low shelf to support all types of cuts and has a max rip capacity of 24.5″. Small parts and thin rips can be made from the low fence, and when the fence is extended beyond 12″, the low fence can also be dropped down to act as a material support shelf for thin materials.

With the quick-tilt bevel, you can quickly and easily tilt the blade to your ideal angle.  Adjust your bevel setting from a centrally located knob and further fine-tune in 1° increments with the micro tilt-adjust feature. Dust collection for the CTS is built on an internal shroud that directs dust out of the back of the saw through a 2.5″ dust collection port. For additional collection capabilities, simply connect a shop vac or Festool Dust Extractor with a 2.5″ hose to collect dust and keep a your jobsite or shop clean.

Stay organized with the on-board storage compartment that is mounted to the back of the saw. The wrenches, blade guard and riving knife have a home on the saw so you spend less time searching for your needed tools and parts. Weighing just 68 lbs., the CTS has two easy ways to carry it from the truck to the jobsite. Grab it by the handle and carry it like a suitcase, or grab it two-handed at the grips on each side of the table.
