How are heavy machinery and large equipment shipped?

Because our catalog includes heavy stationary machinery (such as band saws, planers, and CNC routers), items exceeding 150 lbs are shipped via Less Than Truckload (LTL) Freight. These items are securely packed inside heavy-duty wooden crates or strapped to pallets to prevent damage during transit. Smaller tools and accessories are shipped via standard parcel carriers like UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

What are the requirements for a freight delivery?

Freight deliveries operate under strict guidelines due to the size of the transport vehicles:

  • Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier will call you to schedule a specific delivery window. You must be present to sign for the shipment.

  • Curbside Delivery: Standard freight shipping includes curbside delivery only using a liftgate to lower the crate to the ground. Drivers cannot move the machinery inside your facility or garage.

  • Access: Your location must be accessible to a large box truck or semi-truck.

What should I do if my equipment arrives damaged?

You must inspect the outside of the pallet or crate before signing the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you see any signs of crushing, punctures, or open packaging, write "DAMAGED" clearly on the delivery receipt and take high-resolution photos immediately. Contact our support team at support@woodworkingequipments.com within 48 hours so we can process a claim and arrange a replacement or refund.

What is your return policy for woodworking equipment?

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the equipment must be completely unused, in its original undamaged packaging (including crates/pallets), and include all original components, manuals, and accessories. Please note that a 15% restocking fee applies to large machinery returns to cover testing and inspection, and return freight shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I cancel an order after it has been placed?
  • Standard Stock Items: You can cancel your order at any time before it ships for a full refund. Once it leaves our warehouse, it must be processed as a standard return.

  • Custom Machine Configurations: Orders involving custom factory setups or modifications can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, production begins, and a cancellation fee may apply.
