The SawStop Contractor Saw combined SawStop’s patented safety technology with tons of features that can be configured to meet your needs on the jobsite. As SawStop’s most configurable saw, it is truly versatile. This contractor saw combines mobility and stability with impressive performance, durability, and safety.
SawStop’s Contractor Saw now comes standard with the upgraded 30″ Premium Rip Fence. This fence features a wider body for increased stability, and is easier to adjust square and parallel. It is smoother to glide compared to the previous fence, and the steel rails add strength and rigidity.
With a 1.75HP motor, the SawStop Contractor Saw delivers the power you need in a compact package. The poly-v-ribbed belts transfer more power to the blade for better cuts with less vibration. Powder-coated steel resists rust and corrosion to ensure life-long reliability. This contractor saw is sturdy and solid with considerably more cast iron for reduced vibration.
The heart of any SawStop Saw is the skin contact detection. The blade carries a small electrical signal that is continuously monitored by a digital signal processor. The signal changes when it comes in contact with skin since the human body is conductive. This triggers the quick release aluminum brake. A heavy-duty spring forces the brake into the teeth of the spinning blade, stopping it instantly.
Dust collection is maximized on the SawStop Contractor Saw. Under-table shrouding funnels dust out of the saw. You can attach your contractor saw directly to a 4” dust collection tube or to SawStop’s Dust Collection Panel, which has both 2.5” and 4” ports for compatibility with a variety of dust collection systems. You can also upgrade to a Dust Collection Blade Guard and step up to SawStop’s advanced dust collection above the table.
