iTECH K60120Z High Z + Extra Y Desktop CNC Router

The iTECH K6012 Q Series ‘High Z / Extra Y’ desktop CNC router is distinguished by its extended axis dimensions: 250mm of clearance between the bed and gantry, and a 1,250mm Y axis travel. These proportions make it well suited to longer prototype work, small batch production runs, and advanced workshop applications where standard desktop machines fall short.

The frame is a one-piece welded steel construction, providing the rigidity necessary for consistent repeatability across a range of materials — wood, aluminium, plastics, foam, and composite sheet goods among them. Double linear guides and German-manufactured lead screw drives ensure accurate alignment from first use.

The standard spindle is a 2.2 kW liquid-cooled high-frequency unit, maintaining a consistent operating temperature to preserve bearing life and cut quality over extended production cycles. The 100mm extraction port is larger than is typical on machines of this class, supporting effective dust and chip removal at the source.

An optional rotary axis is available, enabling the machining of turned profiles, spindles, and cylindrical components without transferring the workpiece to a separate machine. Machine control is handled via a handheld DSP G3 pendant, which displays tool paths and G-code in real time during operation.

Vectric VCarve Pro is bundled as standard, providing a capable CAD/CAM environment for 2D and 3D work. Users with existing software — including Fusion 360 — can drive the machine directly by selecting the GRBL post processor.
